Yeahhhh these two songs rawksssss, both have sincerely touched me to the deepest. I'm learning the one by Garth Brooks now, more challenging! haha anyways, i'm not really gonna talk anything much about the A levels results cuz you guys prolly already know how i did and yes some of you might agree I've improved, or rather peaked at A levels (thankfully). But well some of you might think it isn't good enough to enter a good course in Uni.
But yeah, I've already chosen my alternative pathway besides being a singer (which in my lifetime I don't think I will achieve it): to major in psychology. I'm not sure if this is the best and correct pathway cuz a pair of eyes isn't enough to see the whole picture sometimes. Just hope everything is smooth sailing for me once I get the course I want. And also not to slack too much like I did in JC. Lol this is what I say now, but in NUS or NTU later when I get admitted, it's tough to predict @_@
Haha but anyways I'm not workin with Shiyun anymore in Orchard. Or rather I've quitted that job already. So Shiyun is now back to her little shop in Milennia Walk, do drop by to visit her! =D you owe me one Shiyun =P
For me, the starting of NS life is just a few steps ahead. For others, the BMT will be over in like a week's time? Damn. Can't wait to get past NS life and go to Uni but we'll see how.
If I had that money right before me to use, I will definitely go overseas to do my studies. I've sort of discussed with my parents that within this 2 years, I'll save an amount of money for overseas and whatever the balance is, my parents will top it up. But of course my dad must work a little harder to earn more in these 2 years to get maybe..more than 100k? That is highly possible, but he was saying just get into a local Uni first, I was like erm ok.
Well so now from what I've gathered about the choices and everything, my final plan is: to reg for NUS and NTU's arts fac first to ensure a place and then during my 2 years of NS, if i explored that there's a faster route for me to get myMasters overseas, I'll go overseas. And from the beginning of now till end of NS, I'll start to save up already. Even if I decided not to go overseas, I could do something else with the sum of money I saved.
The plan sounds logical to me, don't know how it sounds to you guys. Maybe you guys can tag or something to give your valuable suggestions? =D thanks
